after my dad died from chemical dependency, i would have never thought to have found a song like this. im so lucky i did though because it literally changed my life. since that day a few years ago when i first heard this song, i have been a die-hard good riddance fan. die-hard becuse they saved me and i owe my life to them. had their amazingly positive messages never made their way to my ear, i would be just another statistic. i am not the person i once was because their music has inspired me and gotten me on the right track, away from the things that i once thought would help. without them and their music, i wouldn't be living a life worth living. i give this song credit for making me a fan and i thank this song.
