I cant believe no one commented on this song!!! The first time I read these lyrics I got chills down my spine,, plus the music is great too. To me, its about someone whos changed all their opinions on lov through experience and downfall or conflict of some kind, howeverr "inside still just a child" , which is how all of us are - we're all just children on this earth. its about someone who has this deep love for another and will always be there for that person despite all the heartache they've been through with them. i relate to it a lot.
