im not to sure on this one.but here goes... i saw the ocean trying to take the boys life being a comparison to a person trying to bully and strip someone of their thoughts and individuality. The chorus simply says what gives you the right to take anything from me? you dont even know me.
The silent steeple part (i think) is saying its the silence and lack of communication that causes the rift between these people
there are parts of this i dont exactly understand but they all contibute to the bigger message this song delivers. let me know waht you think.
