this is one of my absolute favorite songs, i remember in fifth grade i'd stay up really late just to hear it on the radio... yes, this was one of the very first cds i ever bought memories
i never really knew the actual story behind this song, but i always really related to it (yes, even in fifth grade). i do know now, however, that it's about her parents' divorce. she sees her family falling apart (like leah grrl said) and isn't getting any attention, possibly sees it as her fault. very beautiful.
