I listened to this song a lot after my boyfriend and I broke up and he was dating someone else. He would always come to me and ask for my advice and such and this lyric:

reminded me of those nights when he'd come talk to me about her and any fight they had, and I made him feel better & because I wasn't over him, his being there with me made me feel better. And this:

They will not stray"
reminds me of how I stayed by his side and kept wanting to be with him, waiting for when they'd break up. I guess that payed off because we're together now, but this song always takes me back to those times.
