I recently turned 21 and can totally relate to this song. The pressures of growing up and making it in the world are intense. It's hard to maintain a focus on college and hold a job while friends are moving/growing away. Then there are problems with love interests and family, it becomes so hard to do the things I need/should do. All I care about is hanging out, drinking, trying to have a good time, but it takes hard work and dedication to something (like a career) to make a future for oneself. I've never been a religious person but lately I've been striving for a meaning to it all. When we were kids, it was all so much easier...
