The title track of the album is about how society is coming to an end because people are either too emotional and acting on impulse, or are easily manipulated, or have become too logical, becoming paralyzed in their analysis and intolerant of others due to their own intellectual superiority. By the end, it emphasises how both logic and emotion need to be balanced in oneself, so that you can be made whole and be able to get in touch and understand the natural world rather than be trapped in some sort of artificial and manufactured one.
