Indeed, as Sylvia comes into the room her mum pretends she's talking to someone else. Good for her. And if I was Sylvia's father I'd probably go round to this bloke and have a quiet word with him about the inadvisability of his ever trying to phone his child again, and to suggest that in future he treats women with respect.
