"Five miles of road between me and my house" should be "between me and the hounds."
"Well I wish I was back at Bacon" should be "I wish I was back in Macon."
"Down in a hollo'" should be "Down in the hollow."
I'm pretty sure the last line of the chorus is just "ya'll" and not "why'a-all" but that one is less clear.
