I just discovered this song and have listened to it on repeat quite frequently. It's such a great jam with a killer intro and theme. Yes it's true Joe meant it semi ironically and not as a straight up treatise on kicking someone's ass. HOWEVER... it is still delicious to listen to the tough talking verses because even though we know he is mocking it, there is always something appealing about outwardly expressing frustration, outrage and kinetic energy into the universe, even when it's misguided. If it is toward a deserving bully, then yes off course it's enjoyable guilt free. The problem is - who deserves it if anyone, and how do we overcome the urge to lash out? The solution I believe is to find healthy outlets for your passion - find something you can pour your heart into.
