The Way Home! Lyrics

This song could be the antithesis of "Deadhead." While "Deadhead" might represent devotion to another as a means of achieving salvation from suffering, "The Way Home!" could symbolize liberation from suffering through the recognition of self. (Perhaps too introspective, as Devin has always been...)

"I'm returning to myself with everything I learned from my time with you. Even though we knew and learned from each other, we're still suffering, and I'm trying to understand how I arrived at my own conclusions about who I am—because I still feel empty and disillusioned with myself. I've faced my own feelings—the ones you tried to hide. It will be difficult to find peace within myself, but I know I will reach it. Emptiness. Disillusionment. I've wasted my time shining through you, my “Sun Goddess.” I will rise again. Forgive me, self."

Something like that. Or maybe I've overthought it too much.
