Here in 2025, it's been happening a while, search autopocalypse. the cars they're making now are designed to be tracked and will not last more than 100K miles. Don't believe me, go to a car made after 2021 and try to find the Onstar black box. yes you can find it but it's in a hard to reach area behind the firewall and in a cage, you can still pull the tracking card out....for now
