This song is totally about lucid dreaming. Ever since I was very young I could lucid dream. In my 55 years I’ve literally had thousands of lucid dreams, including a series of dreams over a 20 year span where I learned how to fly and progressed in increasing my ability to fly. After watching the movie Inception I tried to contact my subconscious directly through dreams, and succeeded. My subconscious sent a message to my dreaming conscious self. Just three letters - TCD. And I knew it meant Total Control Dreaming and my subconscious was afraid of letting me have that much control. In another dream (truly horrific nightmare) I was walking in a house I knew was inhabited by a demonic presence. The new owner was pissing off the demonic presence so I tried to save him and his family. I was only able to save his daughter as the house turned into a nightmare of hatred. It was the only time I consciously ended a dream. Usually my dreams are such a frolicking adventure of impossibility, but not that one. I was terrified in the dream so I ended it.
