I like how it doesn't make too much sense, when he was 106 his grandkid turned 11 but when he's 128 everyone he loved is dead and gone? I like that we can never fully grasp his life, only se glimpses. He lives an obviously very long life, one of his favourite memories of his childhood is the rubber skeletons hung across 9th Street, so when he's old and nearly dead, he goes back there and stares at the rubber skeletons one more time.
