I think I put this in the wrong section. Anyway... this song was used in Prison Break. A song meant for the husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend that Michael Scofield was. The lyrics, perfectly suited for him as a structural engineer. He said, "It's the job of a structural engineer to make sure everything he creates is designed to withstand the weight placed upon it." That's what the lyrics mean for him. "Lay it on me." He's speaking as a structure, telling his loved ones that he can withstand the weight placed upon him.
