I think this song, based on my interpretation of the lyrics, is either about somebody who overthinks everything or pays attention to a lot of things and sees/realizes things that others don't.
My first interpretation comes from the lines, "And although we were very thirsty / I question the oasis / And although we were very lonely / I question the woman's love / Question the gods above". I feel this is pretty self-explanatory, as it essentially says, "Although [thing]
is happening to me, I'm still thinking about if [thing] is a good thing/the right thing" (if that makes any sense, I'm horrible at explaining).
My second interpretation comes from the lines, "Hard to join the dance / When you know the song is poisoning everyone". I feel this means that the person pays a lot of attention to things and has realizations that others don't because nobody else seems to acknowledge that the song in question is poisoning them besides the person who is noticing this (I don't know how to articulate this without it sounding awkward/like I'm reciting the song, I hope this makes sense).
