First of all I just want to thank HUM for existing. Second, I came here very surprised to find that nobody is mentioning what I think this song is really about. SEX!! I mean come on, some of the lyrics are just straight up innuendoes. Ok ok the song is definitely not just about sex but after reading the lyrics while listening I found myself a few times going “Wow thats crazy that i missed that”
“She wakes up smashed as hell and steadies her ass against the rail and BENDS before the POUNDING rain” yeah this could be about drugs but I think he is clearly referencing sex as well.
She had the “widest” bright ideas and a “BOX” of tricks filled with ways to feel no pain… I cant be crazy right?
