I see ppl arguing about the meaning. The wonderful thing about the art of music is that you can interpret it anyway you want. The artist does have his/her own meanings but they also want us, the listener, to find outr own meanings. Like when you see a painting or look at the clouds in the sky…some will see a butterfly or duck whereas another will see a sword or a shield. Don’t argue over who is right or wrong. There is no right or wrong.
