Beautiful poetry, that, in my opinion, describes a person that is clearly "smarter" than the world, and has no choice but to live above and beyond it's norms...
Someone mentioned it might be her brother (I always thought it was her admiring a date, getting coffee) In any case, it clearly seems to be her way of showing that she understands a complicated person who may be less understood by the world, and how she appreciates this person for their eclectic mind/character...
