To me, this song means someone else looking at me as if I'm an angel and expecting that that's what I will be. Like they have imagined and created this made up person in their mind who is supposed to be me and expecting that how that person acts is how I will. But we are all imperfect.
I also interpret this as if I am the one expecting myself to be perfect and angelic. As if the song is being sung from me to me.
