i barely hear anyone mention this song but it deserves so much more attention!!
idk for the countless times I've listened to this song my mind just brings me back to where ive been in that same situation. seeing 'glowing pink in the night in my room' as a sort of thinking about that somebody while blushing. along with the other words in the first stanza, generally wording how much she loves that person/fantasizes about them.
describing her love as raindrops, how they never stop & keep coming down is genius. showing how even though her heart 'breaks', she still loves that person.
near the end of the song it seems as if that person isn't aware of her love, as she 'stares at his back all day'. if you ever liked someone without them knowing yk sometimes you just watch them/admire them.
kissing that person once could be interpreted as a 'mistake' or 'accident', but she doesnt see it as one. trying it over and over again, never wanting to stop, is one of the many words she repeats.
this might not be a great interpretation, but generally i see it as loving someone you know & they'll never love you back. even if that love is all that youre made up of, you cant help it.
