My interpretation:

Miranda, that ghost just isn’t holy anymore”

Miranda is a ghost of what people thought of her. She is not holy because they believe she has fallen victim to deviating from societal norms.

“I’ve always wanted To eat glass with you again But I never knew how How to talk without Walls dropping on the eve”

They wanted to talk with them, But they didn’t know how to truly let go without coming back to their predisposed and learned beliefs, closing the openness of the conversation.

“The nest they made couldn’t break you Along the fallen Scowled a fence of beaks But the temple is scathing Through your veins They were scaling Through an ice pick of abcess rekoning”

Society provided the acceptable norm in which to live by. The comfort of a home, a temple of safety. They metaphorically flowed through their veins, the brain, with what is good and bad trying to guide them, but was unable to change her. Fence of beaks. How birds group together and chirp. How people group together and gossip, feeling “above” her. And “looking down” on her.

“And when Miranda sang Everyone turned away Used to the noose They obey”

Everyone turned a blind eye to her, as she was free from the chains in which we constrain ourselves.

“And the damn she will break Make an ocean from this lake”

Her mind free from the conforming to acceptable social constructs. She will live in a greater understanding. She will view her surroundings in a much greater aspect due to this.

“As they siphon off all of our blood”

As we fall victim to the brainwashing we learn growing up, unable to break free
