And it goes back to the conversation he has with Portia when she says that she's not always going to take his DNA elixers or have all her body parts replaced. And he says that there's just one problem: He can't imagine life without her.
Here's a machine that could live forever & was searching worldwide for a place to belong (or more specifically for his heart to belong) And it wasn't until after that search that he finally found that place in Portia & their love relationship.
