I'm guessing the lyrics were removed for copyright reasons? Well, the song was written by Elvis Costello who planned to have a TV show with an all-female band, and this would be the theme song. That project fell through, but the Bangles agreed to do the song for him, and when it fell through, he allowed them to put the song as the title track on that album.
