I believe that this song is one of the few not from Agent Black's POV, instead being about a woman being tracked down by a sector of the Agency known as the Stalkers as they slowly transform her into one of them, heavy focus on the mental changes as she is integrated into the Hivemind (some fans even suggest a physical transformation packed in with the assimilation, involving the target turning male, like a Beneficial Tailor comic showed) while she cries out for an unknown person interpreted by The Beneficial Tailor as her lover
