He’d employ the same trick on their more famous “Titles” using titles from Beatles tracks to create a new song.
My Dad had a huge record collection which included everything BJH ever did. One day, I wanted to “discover” a new band to listen to and this was pre-web so, I ran a bath, selected an album at random, lowered the needle on the b-side and got in the bath. The idea was that I’d have to listen to the entire side so I might find something cool whereas, if I’d been able to stop it then I might do so and miss a hidden gem somewhere later on the album.
Imagine my sheer delight when Nova Lepidoptera slowly faded into my consciousness. The beauty took me away.
