Virginia Avenue Lyrics

Those two lines towards the end, "Every town I go to is like a lock without a key / Those I leave behind are catching up on me," is my favorite line.

There's some regret when you go out and don't 'unlock' the parts of the town you thought you would. You don't experience what you wanted to experience. There's a sting in every missed opportunity. Only thing I would say is to let go of these beliefs, because they are what make our drunk asses go back out, again and again, longing for some transformative experience.

But the transformative experience is in recognizing that there is none to be had. Only then can you live free of regret.
