I'm kind of sad this song doesn't have any interpretations. Hands down my favorite song, in my opinion the best one Shinedown has ever written and produced. The message (Of the entire album too, but specifically this song) was so strong and well-worded that I felt it down to my core. This song has such a strong meaning, and such an uplifting feeling that it feels like you're about to leave the ground.
I have two main favorite things about this song that make it my favorite. Not only is the song itself just amazing, including the lyrics, but the DRUMS are consistently my favorite part of the song. Especially during the chorus and the part where it goes
"As the world collides and I fight for air
As I crash and burn like I just don't care
It's my day to be brilliant
It's my day to be brilliant" The drums during that segment are just so heavenly, like fireworks. Then there's something else that I didn't notice for almost a year, but there's that part that says "Do you want to life forever?" Which is such a little detail but its so awesome and all that. Anyways I just wanted to put something here so everyone knows how awesome this song is.
