Here’s what the meaning of the song is though: a soldier was deadly wounded during the Vietnam warm. While he is laying on the ground during his finally moments in this life, he has the experience that many people have spoken of where memories flood your mind as you are transitioning from this life onto the next. You know? Your life flashing before your eyes. Well she is his life so all of the memories are of them together. He is saying “repo” man meaning God bc he loans us life then he takes it back aka he reposes life which makes him the repo man.
