This may be true but not as you think, they were only in a cultural sense, I seriously doubt any of them openly espoused any kind of "Christian" lifestyle as their music rings with Easter religion mysticism. I wouldn't want to hang that label on such deeply philosophical music.

As with Black Sabbath, Kansas, Judas Priest, the Moody Blues, and others, these were not "Christian Rock" bands per se, but rock bands that occasionally wrote lyrics with Christian themes.
