Hey, I can hereby introduce myself as "Mother Love Bone"'s lyricist, or as one of them. Got to know the music group in 1988. This in connection with a trip to Seattle, organized by the music magazine "Okej", in connection with a type of writing competition I won in that magazine. Me and the female Okay journalist went to Seattle together in 1988, I think it was sometime in the spring, maybe April/May, and we were there maybe 3 or 4 days. During this stay, I lived among other places in the musician's collective that Andy lived in, or Andrew Wood, the vocalist of "Makfunkshun", and later the brand new band Mother Love Bone. In connection with the Seattle stay, I managed to write at least 3or 4 of the lyrics, with some demo/melody, which the band then used further in the process of making music. The texts in question are; "Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns" (may have been just Chloe Dancer at first), Bone China, Stargazer, Man of Golden Words, with possibly more. The texts particularly describe meetings with different girls/women during my stay in Seattle, and more. Regarding "Man of Golden Words", it was written by me, together with Andy. That is to say, I was with Andy quite a lot during my stay. For example, went with Andy home to the island he came from just off Seattle, home to his childhood home. Some may recognize the phrase "He came from an Island" from the song "Say Hello 2 Heaven" by Temple Of The Dog, I was one of the people who helped write the lyrics. Back to the lyrics for "Man Of Golden Words", it was completed in Andy's dorm, where I was staying. Was involved in recording a demo with melody in that room, among other things. Otherwise, during my stay I managed to get to know 3 or 4 girls/women, and more. Also went to the cafe pub/strip club where Chloe worked, sort of got to know her too, who I thought was worth writing a song about, thought she was quite special and attractive. I can mention that I traveled back to Seattle later that same year in 1988. This in connection with an international summer school in Seattle, or on the island of Bainbridge Island. Was then possibly the whole summer vacation in Seattle, from 3/4 weeks to a 7/8 weeks, the acquaintance continued with Chloe, who had now become a substitute teacher, but also with Andy and the music group Mother Love Bone. Was among others at the same summer in 1988 with Andy on a trip to Texas, also further up again via California to Seattle. Several more song lyrics for Mother Love Bone were written during the mentioned trip, and the last stay in the summer of 1988. Worked and collaborated with Mother Love Bone until their until their dissolution in 1990, continued some with Pearl Jam.
The woman in Bone China could be Xana, or a mysterious woman aquaintance in Chinatown, that was a white european american.
