Chicago electric blues at its finest! Muddy Waters is the O.G. It's actually pretty easy to see how this inspired early rock 'n' roll. The emphasis on a strong riff, the 12-bar blues progression, emotional vocals, and an electric guitar/harmonica are pretty much the backbone of many early rock songs.
