This is one of my all time favorite songs. I think Manalishi relates to the Indian Himalaya town called Manali. It is ‘famous’ for the cannabis and poppy cultivation in that region. Maybe that’s why Peter Green got bad memories using these goods. But I don’t know if he has been Manali.
