Well, this song seems to be about her unhappy relationship with some boyfriend that came to an end. But it's a Stevie's song and I wouldn't be surprised if that song had much deeper meaning. Well, after reading many lyrics of hers and interpretations about her songs I have learned that even though she writes "love", "I love you", "fall in love", "romance" etc. it doesn't mean it's a love song.
