Beautiful song! And I'm first to comment! Many Orphaned Land songs have religious and spiritual meanings and this is another great one.

Here is my interpretation:

Waves that flow in the oceans of the stars Clusters bright and far

We are compared to waves that come into this material universe; stars, planets, from our spiritual home.

Brave souls art thou, who tread the darkness

We are called brave because in the state of (seeming) separation from God we walk in darkness to be our own light.

In thy never ending way

God is infinite, and so is the journey, and the soul is eternal since it is a part of God

Say thy names with pride

God has many names (many religions on this earth) but they all point to the same entity, One worthy of respect and awe.

Candles in darkest night Bringers of hope ignite Ye of clearest sight

Go in peace and find thy faith Evolve thyself and lose all hate So a heaven you may create

This is about the dicotomy of non duality and the play of form. Oneness, aka unity with God is our natural state, but God also engages in a play where It splinters Its consiouness into a multitude of sentient forms. We, pieces of God are plunged in darkness (The fall of man, aka Leela, aka Maya, aka Samsara) through virtue, compassion, love, we attain oneness with God. We return home.
