It's not just a gentle ballad about love but also about the tribulations of being in a metal band that's touring on the road, where the songwriter is expressing the toll that this is all having on his health. The acoustic guitar sets the mood just right, the vocal harmonies are great and the lyrics are very honest & open, not something you'd expect from a band of this genre. After the first time I heard this song I had tears rolling down my face - I'm surprised this isn't played more often on the "late night love" shows on my local FM radio station, especially as a wind-down song which this is perfect for. One of the greatest final tracks on an album IMO.
