Ok, I'm going to have to agree with Mattbluhalofan a little on this one. The opening solo or whatever is too long, but you gotta appreciate what they're doing here. After all, who else was starting songs like this? Then it transforms to the song-ish part which has this totally funky fresh riff. This also goes on for a while, but it's so catchy I don't really care. And the horns and vocals are pretty good too. Overall, it's not really a song, per se, which is why I get that slight feeling of dissatisfaction when it ends, but I enjoy the hell of it while it's on.
@Spooky_Tooth It's more of a composition than a song, which is fine with me. Songs are nice, but sometimes it's good to stretch out into longer forms with multiple parts.

@Spooky_Tooth Back in the late 60s everybody was stoned and sloshed and as a result a lot bands did that repetitive stuff. They'd go on and on and on. We're too impatient to do that now lol.
