I think this song is about a guy wanting REAL love with a girl.
He says he wants to see her in the morning before she goes out into the world & preforms for everyone around her.
He wants her to show him places, thoughts, & inner feelings no one else knows about.
He knows she knows she's beautiful but he wants more than that. But at the same time, he wants to know if she will hurt him in the process.
I don't know if that makes sense but that is how I see it!
