you muddafuckas! Why doesn't this have any comments? This has the most complex set of lyrics of any rock song. I still have no idea what this is about and won't dare even to try and explain the sheer brilliance of Larry Weiss' words. In all seriousness though, this song should have comments regardless of what the lyrics mean (I suppose this site's name implies it actually shouldn't but I don't give a damn; I listen to Rock 'n' Roll) because this cover (just found out it's actually written by some guy name Guy) RULES (hopefully my use of parentheses hasn't de-emphasized how much I love this song; did I make it worse?). First of all, that riff is so friggin heavy and imposing that I just want to grab a beer and drive a classic American car (not at the same time of course). Secondly, the switch between regular and falsetto vocals is just terrific. Both voices battle to the death until they join forces in the chorus (which at that point I have already orgasmed) and tell you what's gonna happen to the evil woman. Finally, there's a guitar solo full of badassery which isn't that memorable but definitely makes me wanna pick up an air guitar and strum while bobbing my head up and down (not to mention the wonderful organ in the background).

P.S. Did I mention the song is 9 minutes long?

P.P.S. ELO's version is great, too.
