This song has a lot of different interpretations, and I think everyone is hearing something a little bit different, trying connect it to their own experiences. Personally I love that, I love hearing songs and being able to connect with them somehow. That brings me to when I first heard this song, I wasn’t in a great place mentally at the time. Specifically the line:
“I don’t like this air, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop breathing it.
Who doesn’t think they’re at, the center of the universe and being it”
For me it felt like I wanted to leave the planet (if you get what I’m trying to say) but I just couldn’t. And to me the “Who doesn’t think they’re at, the center of the universe and being it” Line seemed almost ironic, as at that point I had felt the complete opposite of that.
Though I know this isn’t very similar to the other interpretations from everyone, I just wanted to share.
