It's about a person's experience while growing up and how he or she was promised all the things he or she wanted or needed if they would only sacrifice their true self and they lost themselves trying to get the love they needed. They finally realized not only did their caretaker lie they projected all their own unresolved hurt and pain onto them with no recourse.
Except to carry the burdens of the parent or parents and to try and figure it out in their own. So they are left to deal with not only the hurt and pain of abandonment but also the long road of self acceptance and forgiveness for themselves and the parents or parent.
Definitely needs Jesus, he is truly the only way to healing and meaning!
