My theory, which isn't solid and I'm open to any rebuttals or arguments, is that the song is written in the perspective of someone who's been raised or taught by some individual or corporation, realises that the things he's been told and lessons he's been taught are all a wicked scheme meant to trick him, or manipulate him, into doing what they want him to do in order to gain his loyalty or submission. But then he realised that he's been told nothing of truth and revolts. Again, this is just a my interpretation and I'm glad to hear other peoples' thoughts.
