Is this really a modern SP song with surface-level lyrics? I think so. The message this song delivers is really quite clear, even upon first read; Despite the invigorating nature of stage life, it's still wrought with fault. At the end of the day he's just a tired man. Keep in mind that he's known the stage for close to 35 years. On top of that, he's 55, the father of 2 young children, and the partner of his soon-to-be wife. Not a bad song. It's refreshing to decipherable lyrics for once, but this isn't really a standout track from CYR.
