When I listen to this song I think of a failed love story I had with someone. We tries everything we tried for two years and at the end we said we loved each other so much but we just weren't meant for each other no matter how hard we tried we couldn't make things work and I always cry while listening to this song realizing my mistakes and missing the happy memories i had with her and how she was irreplaceable, I truly did love her with all my heart and I just break down when I start focusing on the lyrics "God knows that we've been trying, But we didn't make it 'cause nothing's the same".
