i think the song is obviously how he doesn’t want his partner to leave, as the title is literally “please don’t leave”. but jokes aside the song seems upbeat and happy except but it’s rlly a sad song ,,for the please don’t leave part, it’s very sad and pleading sounding. he also says “i won’t let go, i can’t let go” it’s a relatable song in my opinion
