I remember in the spring of 2013 we were flying a mission to Syria to try to influence a cease fire of the civil war that has just kicked up. We had learned to connect our Ipods to the C5 intercom system and the 1st song I heard was this Kid Rock song at 0200 hrs on a super cold ramp in Germany headed down range to Syria. It was a little scary but man what a wasted mission that was as the civil war still goes on today.
I look at this song as just a song, not supporting war but not dragging us GI's down either. Just Kid making a statement of our political process on war. I could be totally wrong?
