Well I was dating this guy twice my age. This song kind of bothered me when I heard him listen to it when he visited me. I shared it with my brother and it kind of bothered as well. I am 30 soon to be 31 he’s 55 with three kids and three grandkids and his daughter is pretty much my age and it just is not right. And the problem is I’m not in love with him. He’s completely obsessed with me and we all can see meaning my family that is due to my age and that is obvious. this song really gives me the chills it’s kind of creepy if you will. I made the right move. He sees it as some kind of an Unforbidden romance and he likes also listen to Dusty Springfield son of a preacher man and he’s not even religious he’s just creepy like that and I think I got out at the right time that’s all I have to say. He’s just not right in that way. The obsession was just completely over the top.

@Stephaniejones He's 55. "Son of a Preacher Man" is a song of his youth. "Georgia" is clearly about a guy doing something for the woman he loved - some have mentioned murder in retaliation for her being abused, robbery so they could go away together. Nothing creepy, nothing to indicate obsession, nothing to indicate she's younger. "He's completely obsessed with me," lol. Narcissist much?
