She can no longer sleep at night and cannot feel peace. It sounds almost like PTSD. I am not sure what Peoria has to do with this, but I imagine this is taking place in the city of Peoria, IL. This is my interpretation of the lyrics anyway. This was the song that convinced me I was a fan of Airiel. I was immediately entranced by it. I especially love those harmonies at around 3:30.
