Where he though that the song was about a man who had skitsaphrenia (pardon my spelling), but thought he had amnesia cause he would remember things different from others. And when his mind is cured the woman disappears suddenly. He can't remember being in love because he never was in the first place. My personal intake of this interpretation made me think that the man was also suicidal and that he fell in love with the idea of death
