When you're a complete mess but the one perfect person suddenly takes you from the darkness and because they're everything you have now, you start to idealise them, maybe become a bit too obsessed ("I know this whole damn city thinks it needs you but not as much as I do" it basically seems like you imply that you want the person just for yourself because you depend on their presence in your life way too much) to the point it may even scare the person (I wonder if your therapist knows everything about me) but it's just how much you need them. "Just tell me, tell me, tell me, I, I am the only one even if it's not true", you just need to feel like you mean something to them too and you'd rather have them in your idealised visions than open your eyes for a second
